Differentiated Instruction (DI) is an approach to teaching that involves tailoring instruction to meet the individual needs of students.
This approach recognizes that students have different:
- learning profiles,
- readiness,
- and interests.
A one-size-fits-all approach to teaching is not effective for all students.
To learn more about Differentiated Instruction and how it can make a difference for your students, start with our free DI handout.
